Hello and welcome to my website
My interest in health comes from my maternal grandmother. I was born and raised in Iran where traditional apothecaries still exist and are used by many for common and complex ailments. My grandmother who was originally from Tbilisi in Georgia had been brought up in the tradition of using herbal medicine. As an adult living in Iran she found her way to the old apothecaries of the city. I became familiar with the smell and taste of tisanes and decoctions during her visits and will always think of her drinking valerian root tea before retiring.
I started my career in the corporate world after studying Economics and Information Technology. Nevertheless, I continued with my interest in natural therapies.
In 2004 I studied Aromatherapy with Gabriel Mojay at the Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy (ITHMA). Gabriel’s teachings are based on the energetic of the natural fragrances and how the fragrance notes of essential oils reflect their specific therapeutic actions on the body and mind following the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Five Elements theory.
In 2015 I completed my studies in Herbal Medicine and Naturopathy at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), followed by a specialist course in Chinese Nutrition which is based on TCM energetics principles.
I studied Reiki levels I and II in 2018 as I wanted to add a hands on healing therapy to my skillset.
